CFG Molecule Pages

The CFG Molecule Page interfaces offer detailed information on important molecules in glycomics research: glycan structures, glycosyltransferases, and glycan-binding proteins (GBPs). Information is drawn from the CFG's four data collections (glycan array screening data, glycan profiling data, glycogene microarray screening data, and mouse phenotyping data) and from relevant databases worldwide.

Find detailed structural and chemical information for thousands of glycans Identify glycosyltransferases capable of forming specific glycan linkages Access detailed information on a variety of mammalian glycan-binding proteins Binding specificity data from screening glycan-binding proteins and other samples on the CFG glycan microarray Data from analyzing cell and tissue samples for the presence of a variety of N- and O-linked glycans. Gene expression data from screening cell- and tissue-derived samples on the CFG's glyco-gene microarray chip. Data from phenotype analyses of mouse knockout strains lacking glycosyltransferases, glycan-binding proteins, or other glyco-related genes.
